Welcome!

Welcome one! Welcome ALL!

My name is Ricki and at this blog, you'll learn about my life but most importantly, my equestrian life!!! By no means, what I post up here, is my adventures and accomplishments about Stanley and Me and other horses, THIS IS NOT a training site. Just a site where you can laugh and follow my career with Stanley.
First things first, I little bit about me. I'm attending the University of Utah and getting my degree in Geophysics. I have two sisters. An older sister called Hanna and my twin sister, Franzi. Very loving parents who support me every step of the way, and of course, our smallest family member. Aphrodite, our puppy. (Like her on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Aphrodite/86359062478)

Riding History:

I have been riding since the 3rd grade. So almost 11 years of riding. I first started out western, (did lessons) then did bareback from almost a year because one, I was so lazy getting the western saddle up on the horses back and two, I discovered I really like riding bareback because it makes me use my balance and legs rather then stirrups and the horn. After that, I got really interested in english riding and took lessons at a local hunter/jumper barn where I learned the aspects of english riding, jumping, and showing. During my time there, I did a few local shows and won a few ribbons and medals.
Soon, my family couldn't afford me riding anymore so  I posted up an ad on a local website where I was contacted by this wonderful family who did western events. And in return of riding, I would babysit the kids. I gladly accepted, and soon I did playday shows with the kids and horses. Barrel Racing, Reining, poles, speed barrels, keyhole, and everything western game. We would go on trail rides, urban riding, etc. Along my whole growing up with horses, I picked up some valuable skills and make a lot of new friends.
Once I graduated high school, I decided to lease my own horse, for I had a good job and the time to have my "own" horse. Where I found Stanley and my trainer Katie-Ann who is an AMAZING trainer and knows Stanley inside and out.
That is my riding history for you guys, I could go into more detail, but then you would just get so bored of reading. haha

This is the horse I am leasing for the 2011-2012 year
